- Development and execution of a comprehensive EHS program strategy in line with Takeda’s global EHS program objectives; proactively identifying significant EHS risks and creating associated mitigation plans
- Communication of EHS risks, EHS program strategies and EHS program performance to BioLife Europe Senior Management Team to ensure support and alignment
- Development of programs to strengthen EHS competencies of personnel within the BioLife Europe network
- Guidance of all EHS activities to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations
- Primary liaison for threat management and emergency preparedness response related issues impacting employee/guest safety
- Primary liaison with EHS related external regulatory agencies for the BioLife Europe plasma collection network
- Direct the job responsibilities of staff members
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Higher degree in the field of Environmental, Safety Engineering / Technology or related
- At least 5 years of advanced experience within a similar role
- Must be conversant in OSHA and ADR regulations
- Must hold a registered professional certification in the environment or safety field (i.e. CSP, CIH or PE)
- Prior working experience with leaders in a large multi-site/matrix organization
- Fluency in German and English
- Advanced user of MS Office programs

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important and responsible position is € 4.369,11 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
