We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner (50%) for our Austrian team. The HR Partner will be a strategic partner for business and will :    

  • drive and implement strategic and tactical projects and initiatives​
  • understand the big picture and long-term plans
  • Understand HR strategy and work on implementation
  • organization capability plan
  • analyze HR metrics with the business and determine measures​

Talent/ Leadership Development:

  • discuss and foster development planning
  • team dynamic needs assessment
  • consulting and support for performance development planning
  • consulting on Learning & Talent Development tools and internal/external development programs
  • coaching of/ sparring partner for leaders
  • facilitate team workshops, New Leader Integrations, Quality Conversation sessions, etc.
  • leadership empowerment
  • Manage Talent Review Sessions in alignment with global BU timelines
  • Work with leaders to submit local candidates for BU-specific talent programs
  • Lead or support Local Early Career Program Lead, e.g. Apprentice Program, Trainee Program Lead
  • Participate in hearings for critical and leadership roles

         

Organizational Development:

  • organizational design analysis consultation based on long term plans
  • develop new organizational structure with the leaders
  • advise on career pathways
  • critical role management
  • work with leaders on succession plans
  • workforce planning & solutions
  • foster corporate culture initiatives
  • show trends an discuss benchmarks
  • develop and implement flexible solutions, challenge standards,
    e.g. new ways of working
  • Coach individuals/teams using change management tools
  • Apply high-performing team building tools/ deliver local workshops (e.g. New Leader Integration)

         

Employee Experience:

  • translation of engagement surveys into insights and action plans
  • employee experience action plans
  • handling queries escalated from TBS
  • drive change initiatives

Total Rewards:

  • job leveling, e.g. hiring process
  • consultancy for leaders and HRBLs /HRSLs concerning compensation/ base pay (new & change)
  • compensation data review
  • initiate level & compensation adjustments
  • working time/ working place/ role specific allowances
  • initiate mobility process and responsible for exceptions in mobility process
  • consultancy and calibration for annual performance & compensation cycle

Employee and labor relations:

  • conflict intervention
  • solving complex employee relations issues, disciplinary actions & exits
  • support for legal cases (court related) in accordance with PAG
  • develop and negotiate working time agreements with works council in accordance with PAG
  • organization and execution of RIF programs in accordance with PAG

         

other:

  • hiring plan
  • alignment with other HRPs, HRBLs, HRSLs
  • Work closely with in-country TBS and PAG
  • Transform global projects/initiatives to local actions (concept, coordination, roll out)
  • local communication & announcements of global initiatives/policies
  • participate in governance structure
  • Adapt and roll out focus initiatives according to the HR cycle/calendar
  • leading local HR initiatives
  • Stay Up to date regarding global, local, functional and system related topics
  • Support for legal cases
  • Participate in Business Meetings and provide HR updates
  • Facilitate HR onboarding

We are looking for someone with :

  • experience in partnering with senior leaders 
  • positive and agile mindset
  • excellent track record for building strong professional relationships within a complex business environment
  • minimum 3 years of experience in an equivalent HR Business Partner role in a global company
  • profound knowledge of Austrian Labor Law
  • Change Management, Transformation and Org Development experience
  • Positive and resilient
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German and English

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately. The minimum salary for this important and responsible position is € 4 527,78 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry). The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
