Job Description

About the role:

The Head Stability Management for PDT & Hematology Products will lead a team of 8 highly skilled Specialists and will provide strategic oversight and leadership to the network pertaining to the stability program and strategy on Plasma Derived Therapies and Hematology Products globally.

How you will contribute:

  • Lead a team of highly skilled Specialists (located in EU) providing guidance as well as opportunities for training and development
  • Support Takeda sites with any stability related topics/questions/issues and ensure compliance of Takeda’s stability programs with applicable regulations and guidelines
  • Responsible for defending Takeda’s product stability program during inspections upon site request
  • Manage the company’s portfolio for Plasma Derived Therapies and Hematology Products, including correct and rapid execution of routine as well as for cause stability programs
  • Participate and vitally contribute to the global community of practice (CoP) for global stability
  • Drive improvement in the network, specifically overseeing integration activities and tailoring of stability processes to efficiently support the business
  • Present global stability processes during inspections
  • Ensure support for all Takeda sites during all phases of product development and implementation upon request

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Academic degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering from Technical College or University
  • Proven leadership capability with at least 5 years of experience in leading local/global teams on a senior Manager level
  • A minimum of 7+ years related experience within Pharmaceutical Industry in a quality environment, managing global quality systems
  • Experience with all global stability related processes
  • Hands-on experience in management, qualification or manufacturing of pharmaceutical products is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in performing audits and inspections
  • Proactive at keeping current with literature, regulations, and latest technologies
  • Regard compliance with cGMPs, safety and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in working with strategic initiatives and long-term planning
  • Highly desirable qualities include solution-focus, assertiveness, professional integrity and the ability to make effective decisions
  • Good knowledge of English is a must; basic knowledge of German
