Overall, 14 Doctoral Candidates will be trained at seven institutions in five European countries and will be supported by a network of industrial and academic partners.
At acib you will deal with the prediction of a separation process for bionanoparticles using Brownian dynamics and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). You will develop models to predict the operation parameters of a continuous flow ultracentrifuge and of convective chromatography, both for separation of AAV gene-therapy vectors and VLPs. Further, you will validate the computer simulations by experimental results.
You are working in an enjoyable work climate, have numerous possibilities for further education and personal development.
