The position

For our Animal Health Regional Centre Vienna, we are seeking as of 01.03.2025 an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager. The role involves significant complexity in having to address local issues and interact with many individuals within the regulatory, business and logistic groups in order to meet the business unit needs and regulatory compliance. Has to be able to manage and coordinate ongoing and planned RA activities and local RA teams to ensure targets are met. The country of responsibility is Austria.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Management of product registration activities, in accordance with corporate policies local regulatory requirements and strategic direction in the countries of your responsibilityAustria
  • Responsible of the Regulatory review and release of the Marketing Materials
  • Management of information and regulatory documents to ensure confidentiality, information protection and agility in providing feedback to authorities. Organize and update status of the registration process
  • Develop and maintain proactive relations with the authorities responsible for regulatory affairs in the country as well as stakeholders and influencers. Represent Boehringer Ingelheim in local industry groups
  • Dealing with Pharmacovigilance related issues in Austria including PV case entry  and maintaining and improving of the PV system

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry (human or veterinary) 
  • Veterinary degree, Pharmacist or life science degree 
  • High ability to communicate within different groups of stakeholders sitting remotely in different countries of the region - Logistics, Business, Sales, Local RA Managers and coordinate regional regulatory projects 
  • Experience working in culturally diverse teams with a strong accountability and results oriented mindset
  • Fluent in German verbally and in writing, good English skills

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective bargaining agreement for this position is EUR 58.199,96 (full time), although the actual salary is based on your technical skills and personal competencies as well as your professional experience.
