Postdoc in applied genomics and molecular diagnostics (m/w/d)

At DEOXY, we are transforming our patented technology into a platform for single-cell genomics and molecular diagnostics. This project currently employs about 15 experienced researchers and entrepreneurs at the LMU München (Fakultät für Physik). Recently, DEOXY was recognized as a high-potential biotech enterprise and awarded the prestigious GO-Bio grant from the German Federal Government (BMBF). This substantial funding will allow our team to advance our technology until mid-2021, after which DEOXY will continue operation as a venture-backed biotech company.

The impact you can make:

  • You will apply the DEOXY technology to biological and clinical samples, i.e. tissue and blood samples
  • Your work will have a direct impact on the design and specifications of our product
  • You will implement, test and improve the tools and methods developed by your coworkers in the engineering teams
  • You will coordinate collaborations with external research groups, potential customers and industry partners

The spice you have:

  • A life-sciences degree (e.g. biochemistry, biology, genetics, immunology)
  • A passion for life science and technology
  • Experience with single-cell technologies, as well as in the pharma/biotech industry is a plus
  • Creative team player
